Lefty's Main Attraction (TWHBEA Reg # 974874) is a super nice, seasoned, been there, done that type of horse. He belongs to some very good friends of ours and they have owned him for the past 7 years. "Red" will be 11 years old this coming May. 15.1H. He gets along great with other horses, is not aggressive towards them, and is easy to catch. He is current on all shots, worming, and coggins. He is very easy to bathe and clip, and he stands great for all farrier work. He loads and unloads great. Red has been trail ridden extensively all his life and also been camping. He has been shown successfully as well. He is also traffic safe. He's a very easy keeper. Stands perfectly to mount and dismount. Anyone with basic knowledge would be fine with him and experienced riders would have a blast also. Red has a very nice slow gait but he also has plenty of speed when called upon. He is the type of horse that is content to walk all day if that's what you prefer to do, or if you want to get up and leave everybody, he'll do it in a hurry. I estimate he can rack up to 18 mph when called upon, and he will quietly come right back down into a loose reined walk. He also has a great smooth flat walk and super smooth running walk, and can shake his head with the best of them. Very well mannered, and loves attention around the barn. He has always had the best of care and has not had any health or soundness issues. He is being sold only due to herd reduction and will go to a good home only. Located in Salem, VA
