Snip is a beautiful black mare that will surely stand out in the crowd with her looks! She is broke to ride and rides very well. She will ride alone or with other horses with no issues. She has been exposed to traffic, dogs, lawn mowers, etc. and is not a spooky type of horse. Snip has been owned and trained by a lady with numerous health problems the last 2 years. Due to this, she has been trained to do a lot of things that most horses don't know that make her much more user friendly... such as... she will stand perfectly still to be clipped, without even as much as having a halter on or being tied up. She will lower her head with the touch of a finger to make it easier to clip her bridle path and ears, and she won't move a muscle. She will practically put the bridle on herself by lowering her head and sticking her head into the bridle. She will automatically sidestep and position herself next to a gate, trailer, or another object being used as a mounting block to make it easier to mount, and then stand still until asked to move out. Her ground manners are truly impeccable! She crosses creeks, logs, and wooden bridges with no issues. She has a true running walk gait, with head shake, and will also rack. She is very smooth! Snip bathes, clips, and stands for the farrier. She is VERY friendly and is the first to meet you when you come into the pasture. She always wants some lovin'.
