2000 TWHBEA Blue Roan Mare

Lacy is an absolutely stunning 11 year old blue roan mare with no white markings. She is 15H tall. She has a super sweet personality and impeccable ground manners. She is very respectful of your space, not pushy at all. She leads, loads, ties, clips, bathes, and shoes without any issues. She is very refined and feminine looking, yet has a very studly looking mane and forelock, being very long and thick. She has the longest mane and forelock of any mare I've ever seen! Her head is gorgeous and very shapely. She has a huge stride and great way of moving. Lacy is sired by the late, great Pride's Main Man. She is out of a direct Silver Design mare, making her a very well bred mare with an added bonus of the beautiful blue roan color! She is an excellent trail mare, crosses water and logs. We have ridden her alone and in large groups (on rides up to 1300 horses!). She has been ridden from the mountains to the beaches, and everything in between. She has an outstanding natural walking gait, complete with headshake. There is literally no movement in the saddle when she is gaiting, she is as smooth as they come and not pacey or trotty. She has never had anything but a keg shoe on her foot. Lacy has had 5 foals. Her last foal was just weaned off of her this week and she has gone back to being ridden on the trails now. Lacy has always gotten in foal easily on the first try, has had no problems delivering, and is an excellent mother. She is currently open as she was not bred back this year. She was just shod, and has a brand new coggins and is up to date on her shots. We do not recommend Lacey for a complete beginner, but someone with a basic knowledge of riding should do just fine with her.
