Lacy is an absolutely stunning 7 year old blue roan mare. She is our newest addition, and already very loved! She has a super sweet personality, always begging for attention. She is very refined and feminine looking, yet has a very studly looking mane and forelock, being very long and thick. Her head is gorgeous and very shapely. She has a huge stride and great way of moving. Lacy is sired by the great Pride's Main Man, who just recently passed away. She is out of a direct Silver Design mare, making her another very well bred mare with an added bonus of the beautiful blue roan color! Lacy was not started under saddle until we recently bought her, at 7 years old! Despite that, she has been one of the easiest horses we've ever had to break. With just one session of ground work, we were on her back trail riding her. She has proven to take very easily to the trails, crossing water and logs, and not being the least bit spooky. She has an outstanding natural walking gait, complete with headshake. She is a true old timey walking horse with a very stocky build. Lacy has had 3 foals, all of which were roans. She will be expecting her next foal June 1, 2008 to our stallion, He's Got The Blues. We have some very high expectations for this cross! The foal is offered for sale.
